Registration forms (attached) can be sent to the email in PDF format above along with an e-transfer payment, or we will arrange a drop off appointment for you.

NOTE: skaters will not be considered registered until all cheques/etransfers including Volunteer Bond have been received.

We are pleased to announce that the following programs are available for the 2023-2024 season:


PRECANSKATE/ PARENT & TOT/ CANSKATE

REGISTRATION FORM CANSKATE-PRECAN-PARENT&TOT

Available on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays

These are Skate Canada’s Flagship Learn-to-Skate programs for beginner skaters. Our programs teach fundamental skating movements and basic skating skills required for all ice sports including hockey, ringette, and figure skating. All skaters are required to wear a CSA Hockey Helmet.


STARSKATE

REGISTRATION FORM STARSKATE

Sessions available on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
StarSkate is Skate Canada’s Learn-to-Figure Skate program taught in a group format.These sessions include 45 minutes of group instructional time per session.It is recommended that skaters have passed CanSkate Stage 3 upon entering this level. Skaters are strongly encouraged to begin working with a private coach to increase the learning process.
There will be a Performance Day and an Element Event for the skaters to showcase the skills they have learned. All skaters are required to wear a CSA Hockey Helmet.


JUNIOR FREESKATE

JR-SR-INT Registration Form 2023-24

Sessions available on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Skaters must have passed:

  •  CanSkate Stage 5 or as suggested by a private coach
  •  Skaters require a private coach
  •  Recommended 2-3 days/week for optimal progression

Sessions include 45min of group lesson time on Mondays, and 30 min of group lesson time + 30min of free practice time on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Skaters will work on completing Stage 6 and start learning the Skate Canada STAR 1 Figure Skating Tests


INTERMEDIATE FREESKATE

Sessions available on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Skaters must have passed two out of the following three Skate Canada Tests:

  •  STAR 1 Dance, Skills, and Freeskate, or as suggested by a private coach
  •  Skaters require a private coach
  •  Recommended 2-3 days/week for optimal progression

Sessions include 15 min. of group lesson time


SENIOR FREESKATE

Sessions available on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Skaters must have passed two out of the following three Skate Canada Tests:

  • STAR 5 Dance, STAR 4 Skills, STAR 4 Freeskate, or Born in 2005 or earlier
  • Skaters require a private coach
  • Recommended 3 days/week for optimal progression

Sessions include 15 min. of group lesson time

Please print out the Concussion Policy and Skate Ontario Waiver (COVID19) Forms and bring them on first day of skating.   Every parent  will have to fill these forms out for each child and have them signed before they go onto to the ice.
