Pre–Canskate / Parent and Tot/ Canskate :
Mondays (5:50-6:35 and 6:35-7:20) Thursdays (5:55 – 6:40) and Saturdays (3:15-4:00)
These are Skate Canada’s Flagship Learn-to-Skate programs for a beginner that teaches fundamental skating movements and basic skating skills. It is the feeder program for all other Skate Canada skating programs.
Pre–Junior
Minimum 2 day program Mondays (7:20-8:05) and your choice of Thursdays (5:10-5:55) or Saturdays (3:15-4:00)
Pre-Junior StarSkate Group is Skate Canada’s Learn-to-Figure Skate program taught in a group format covering Skating Technique, Freeskate, Dance, Skills & Synchro. These sessions include 30 minutes of group instructional time and 15 minutes open practice time on the ice.
It is recommended that skaters have at least CanSkate Stage 4 upon entering this level.
Junior
Mondays (4:10-5:10) Thursdays (4:10 – 5:25) Saturdays (1:20-2:35)
Skaters must have passed Canskate Level 6 and must have their own private coach.
New, longer group lesson times on Mondays designed to ease the transition from Pre-Junior
Sessions include 15 min. club time of instructed ‘Skating Technique’
Intermediate
Mondays, (8:15-9:45) Thursdays (6:50 – 8:20) and Saturdays (2:00-3:15)
Skaters must have passed:
- Two complete Skate Canada Test Levels
- Or have passed one complete Skate Canada Test Level and be 11+ years of age
Sessions include 15 min. club time of instructed ‘Skating Technique’
Senior
Mondays (8:15 – 9:45) Thursdays (7:50-9:45) Saturdays (11:40-1:10)
Skaters must have passed:
- Junior Bronze Freeskate
- Or be 13+ years of age
Sessions include 15 min. club time of instructed ‘Skating Technique’
Adult Skate
Thursdays 9:45-10:30
